The reason for today's press conference was Dina's swim across the Bristol Channel (Wales, England), the last step to the Original Triple Crown.
The original Triple Crown includes swimming La Mancha, the North Channel and the Bristol Channel.
Due to the depth of the bay (over 100km), the Bristol Channel favors the development of a tidal wave that can vary from 5m to 13m. Such large sea changes cause strong currents, so it is possible that Dina will swim twice as long as in a straight line (27 km).
By successfully swimming the Bristol Channel, Dina would become the 8th person in the world and the first person from Croatia to swim the Original Triple Crown.
