The RokOtok Association and Domagoj Jakopović Ribafish will launch the final stage of the RokPoluotok project on June 22, 2025—a swimming journey along the western coast of Istria, from Pula to Savudrija, with the finish line in Umag on July 16. This marks the completion of a two-year swim around the Istrian peninsula, covering more than 100 kilometers in 18 stages.
The project combines sports, education, and environmental awareness. At 12 selected beaches, there will be educational workshops for children, beach clean-up actions, and fun activities like geocaching and treasure hunts. The goal is to highlight the importance of spending time in nature and taking care of our environment. Every child attending a workshop will receive a fun and educational gift.
Swimming segments are reserved for professional swimmers with boat support, but workshops and events are open to all. Among the key sponsors is White Shark, whose support—along with other partners—has been instrumental in bringing this project to life.
RokOtok promotes a healthy, active lifestyle and reconnecting children with nature. The initiative has received numerous awards, including Ponos Hrvatske (Pride of Croatia) and Local Hero, and has organized hundreds of clean-up actions in collaboration with the Čisteći medvjedići volunteer group.
Key locations include: Fažana, Rovinj, Vrsar, Poreč, Novigrad, Savudrija, and others.
Join us between June 22 and July 16! Come swim, take part in workshops, and help make our one and only Planet a better place."
